About Mike Smith - Inventor of the Kaktus
Mike spent time in the British Army as an infantry soldier. He spent some time in Malaysia on a jungle warfare excercise. This was when he had a 'Eureka' moment.
The army had to be replenished every day with water, this allowed the soldiers to keep hydrated, which was essential.
It rained every day at 15:00 hours on the dot without exception. This gave Mike the idea of Kaktus, he thought it would be great if he could collect the falling rain water into a container giving him fresh drinking water.
It's taken many wild camping trips and life experiences to bring Kaktus to you so that you can catch falling rain water!
